Ms. Tanny Marie Hardges

Tammy "Tanny" Marie Hardges was born on August 8, 1963, in McComb, Mississippi, to the late Sarah and Willie Hardges. Tammy grew up in the Algiers Community, surrounded by a large, fun-loving family. She attended McComb Public Schools and later Ms. Job Corps. She worked as a private sitter, caring for others with patience and compassion. Tammy had a outgoing personality and was known for her humor and she always had a funny story to brighten your day. She had a genuine love for people and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever she could. Tammy loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. With her loved ones by her side, she transitioned peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Zachariah Felder; her devoted life partner Leslie (Les) Jackson; her sister, Gloria Hodges; her brother, Willie Calvin Hodges; her uncles, Clarence and James Davis; her aunt, Alean Davis Morris; her nephews, Sean Jones, Tavis Hodges, and Ryan Brumfield; and her brother-in-law, John Martin. Tammy leaves to cherish her precious memory: her loving children, daughter Leslie (Shea) May and son Antonio Hardges; five beloved grandchildren - granddaughters Antoneya Hardges, Antoinette Williams, and Aniyah Felder, and grandsons Marsaveyon Young and Antonio Hardges Jr., all of McComb; three sisters, Diana (Donald) Jones of Moreno Valley, CA, Tonnette (Walter) Anderson, and Patricia Martin o f McComb; two brothers, Mickel (Supriel) Hodges of Terry, MS, and Christopher (Jackie) Hodges o f Topeka, KS; sister-in-law Florence Jeanett Hodges; stepfather Willie B. Isaac: aunts Willene Davis and Dorothy Davis of McComb. Annie Bennett o f Kenosha, WI, and Willye Pearl Tillman o f Chicago, IL; uncle Sam Dillon o f Byram, MS; and a host o f nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A Visitation for Tanny will be held from 12:00pm -1:00pm, Saturday, November 08, 2025, at Mt. Herman Baptist Church, with Funeral Services to follow at 1:00pm.
