He was born February 1, 1951 in Tylertown, MS to the late Velma Smith and Jessie Conerly. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death his sisters, Betty Smith, Bertha Johnson and Catherine Williams. He worked as a logger and devoted much of his time to his animals, fishing, hunting, garden and family. He is survived by his sister, Jessie Brumfield; brother, Alcus Smith; son, Frank Smith, Jr. (Anitra); Shirley Ann Smith; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grand children and extended family.
